YONKERS DETOUR: Emergency Repairs On A Bridge Over The Bronx River Parkway That Connects Yonkers And Tuckahoe

WESTCHESTER COUNTY: An engineer is working to temporarily open the bridge for traffic in one direction.

Workers have close the section of the parkway overnight for emergency  repairs.

The stones being removed will be set aside so they can be safely put back once the bridge structure is complete.

The bridge could remain closed for at least a month.
